The 3:23 Team
Our mission is the following: To share the gospel of Jesus Christ through affordable youth programs in a safe environment. We offer homeschool programs (Bible and athletic enrichment) and extracurriculars, including basketball, cross-country, volleyball, guitar/ukulele lessons, and Art lessons.
Why 3:23? Our name comes from Colossians 3:23, which reads, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men.”
Tim Pollock
After a 15-year career as an English teacher and Varsity basketball coach, Tim started the 3:23 Academy in 2016. In addition to 3:23, Tim is the small group director at Good News Church and chaplain for the Flagler College men's basketball team.
Tim is a 2000 graduate of Flagler College, where he played basketball under Bo Clark. He also holds a master's degree in Education from the University of Florida (2001) and is a current student at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Tim and his wife Kim have two children.
Kim Pollock
Kim is our guitar/ukulele and voice instructor and assists in nearly every other aspect of 3:23. A self-taught guitarist, Kim was a full-time singer-songwriter for 10 years. Now a homeschooling mom of two, Kim focuses her guitar and performance expertise on influencing budding musicians. In addition to guitar and voice lessons, Kim is also on the Worship team at Good News Church.
Kim is a 2000 graduate of Flagler College, where she played volleyball. Her 2005 record, Listen, can be found here or at the Spotify link. You can also find her at various downtown St. Augustine venues playing her original music.
Kärin Warner
Kärin is the instructor for our “Daughters of Song” program. She has worked in youth ministry since 1999. In that time, she has written small group curriculum, discipled women, and equipped students to minister to others. She has a passion for talking to girls about the joy, beauty, and creativity of Jesus. Further, her hope is to see girls realize that God designed them for a certain, precise purpose.
Kärin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas A&M University (2000). Her husband, Chad, is the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Flagler College (and 2021 Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year), and they have three children.
Wyatt “Bug” Goins
Wyatt helps run our Sons of Jesse program and is the director of our Cross Country Club. Wyatt, known as “Bug” to the kids, has also led portions of our summer camps. No stranger to ministry, Wyatt has faithfully led middle school youth groups and VBS weeks for several years at Good News Church.
Wyatt is a 2019 homeschool graduate who competed on the Varsity Cross Country and Varsity Swimming teams Pedro Menendez High School. He is currently pursuing a career in real estate as a team member at the Noah Bailey Group. Wyatt and his wife Clarize were married in 2021.
